Homemade Bread

For the first time in many many years I made homemade bread.
I followed Kimber's easy to follow bread recipe and I did it!

Baddaddy walked in just as I was taking the bread out of the oven. Boy was he excited! We had a yummy snack of hot bread with butter and honey. And he made me feel so good as he raved about it.

I have been feeling a kind of unsatisfied nesting. I want to pull apart my kitchen and start over. Maybe then I could figure out where I can put things more efficiently. And I need to dust, and vacuum and sweep and mop the floor. And I want to finish my scrapbooking. And my recipe book. Not to mention the work I need to do. Unfortunately many of the things I want to do are done on the computer and I am finding it more and more difficult to sit for any length of time. I try to get up and stretch or change activities frequently. But I tend to get really involved in something and want to just keep going and going regardless of the hip pain or the need to eat or the bladder screaming at me yet again.

The bread looks Great! I'd say more but we already talked about the long list that neither one of us seems to be really getting done :)

Take it easy! You'll be amazed what you can accomplish once that baby arrives and you get into 'a normal routine.' Not your old normal, but the 'new' normal. (I really do hate it when people say that - I LIKE THE OLD NORMALS!!!)

For heaven's sake, I painted the entire house while the babies slept most of the time for the first few months. True, it does take some organizing and preparation and tricky maneuvering (especially with a 3-year-old running around), but it can be done! You'll have your time, sistah. D always like to tell me "Your job right now is growing a baby" whenever I complained about feeling like I wasn't accomplishing anything.

The bread looks great! I saw that recipe on her blog, and methinks I might have to try it... :)

Hang in there!!

The bread looks good enough to eat. I wish I was there to try some.

I'm starting to realize no matter how many to do's I get done - there will still be a ton more. I think it's funny that you try to ignore your bladder though. That can be dangerous. :)
