Zane at 2 Months

Length: 22 in

He is only two months old and already he feels so big to me. He is holding up his head very well, can hold himself up when on his belly and is sleeping 6-8 hours through the night.

Zane's Blessing

We had Zane's blessing at home and asked his Great-Grandpa Liddell (who also blessed Max) to bless him. The bishopric and James' Dad were also there. (I was also there although there is no photographic proof.:)



The Blessing
Our Eternal Father in Heaven, as thou seest we hold Zane Auzro Hill in our hands and by the authority of the Holy Priesthood we assign to him this name by which he shall be known throughout the days of his life on this earth and in the records of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and in heaven. And at this time we desire to call forth thy blessings upon him and through the priesthood we bless him with good health throughout this life, with alertness, with great keen mind, with all those attributes and capabilities that mortals need to work out their sojourn on this earth and be able to return to our Heavenly Father and stay worthy of his presence. We bless him with the intellect to be able to analyse all things in life and be able to decide through his perception the right things to do always and to be able to be a great joy and influence even unto his father, his mother, his brother and hereafter any other siblings. And pray at this time that thou wilt bless him with the desire and recognition to hear and discover the gospel of thy son Jesus Christ at the stage of his life where his little mind is exercising itself for his good and others about him and pray that thou wilt bless him that he will be inspired to go forth and be baptized in the true church and be able to be ordained in the priesthood and to follow through on all the exalting ordinances which lead to his return to thy presence worthy and with joy. We pray that he will be able to understand as he grows all the influences and forces that he encounters and be able to part them and set aside all those which are untoward and cling and cleave to the righteousness of the power of the gospel and the priesthood. And we pray that he will be able to be numbered among those who sit in the presence of God forever and ever. We ask thy blessings upon this household, this family, his parents, let their be joy and peace and complete understanding of the truth of the gospel of thy son Jesus Christ. We pray that all will be well, that harmony will prevail and that mighty things can come to him, to his family, his parents, all his loved ones, grandparents and all. We ask thy spirit to descend and pray that thou wilt confirm these blessings from time to time upon him and we do this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
