Our air conditioner is kind of on the fritz. Luckily it still works part of the time. Even luckier, it has rained the last two days and today is cooled down considerably.
Unfortunately, the one day that it was 100 degrees outside was the day it wasn't working.
Poor little Max was a bit miserable. He takes too much after his mom (who would love to live in Washington) rather than his dad (who is a total desert rat.) Not that he is a rat...just that he loves the heat.
Rather than spending all day bumming around in the slightly cooler basement we decided to to put together the new furniture for my office. I am pretty excited about it! It is so much more functional. Unfortunately, it doesn't actually do the work for me...I still have to find time to do it.

I always feel so bad for the little guys when it is hot. That is why they have AC units in their rooms and we suffer at night. I can take the heat, but I can't take the two whiny boys and the heat. :)
