Max's Chair

While searching for pajamas in BabiesRus (he is 13 months old and is already grown out of the 12 months) we came across the jungle chair. It was on clearance. We couldn't resist.

He climbed right up...

and started chillin'.

I think he likes it!

Watching Super Why in his very own chair.

Saturday Puppy Visit

Last Saturday we met James' friend and his family at the park to hang out and to get a second look at the puppy we have chosen. We decided to go with a boy. He has grown quite a bit since we saw him last.

We spent a couple of hours at the park and had a great time visiting. James and the puppy really seemed to hit it off. We are picking him up tomorrow to bring him home.

We are spending lots of time outside and Max cries whenever we bring him back inside.

Water Aerobics

My friend Tiffany invited me to go to water aerobics with her. Last night was our first night and it was great! I like being in the water and it is a great workout. We are going to go every Wednesday and I am going to try to fit in another night during the week. The class is at 8:00 pm so Max is either in bed or heading there so it works pretty well for all of us.

New Cell Phone

My old company finally decided to change their phone plans and take me off of it. It has been 6 years since I had to pick my own phone or plan. I forgot how much of a pain it can be.

Smores

Last night I was having a sugar craving. I was racking my brain for what I could snack on (because I intentionally don't keep stuff in the house) when I realized that I have graham crackers, chocolate chips and marshmallows. Individually not that yummy, but put them together...

So I decided to try nuking smores. The end result was not really very good, but we laughed so hard as we watched the marshmallows puff up, realized that graham crackers burn in the microwave and chocolate chips are not the same as a Hershey bar. All in all, I enjoyed the good laugh much more than the sugar.

Shattered Glass

Monday I kept hearing a cracking noise and wandered all over the house until I figured out what it was. The glass on our deck door was cracking; spiderwebbing over the whole thing. It lasted all day until it came crashing down, spreading glass all over the kitchen and deck. James' spent half an hour sweeping it up and trying to break it all off the door. If you can tell at all in the picture there are still little glass shards in the door that we can't get out. Glass pieces keep falling out so Max is not allowed in the kitchen these days as we try to make sure there is not glass on the floor. It is a two-pane door so it is not open to the outside but it will take a week and $500 to fix.
