4th of July Scrapbook Page

I just had text originally but James said it would be more fun if it rhymed.
He stuck around to help me with the rhyming.

Fight Crib

First, we're not supposed to talk about it...

This morning this is what I found in Max's crib. (It is blood, not poop.) It didn't look like he had a bloody nose or that it came from his mouth and he is as cheerful as ever.

Max at Bedtime

This is what it looks like every night when I put Max to bed.

We start by going on a search for his puppydog. He gets so excited to look for him and will look in all the rooms, under his table and under his bed. We have noticed that lately he remembers right where he left him so James will sometimes hide him to make the search more fun. Then James joins us for a story, kisses Max goodnight and waves goodbye. Max finishes his bottle and then always lays down in the same position; he moves his puppydog under his head and lays on my arm. He loves to have his head massaged and his ears rubbed so I sing to him and rub his head until he falls asleep. Then I lay him in bed with his puppydog as his pillow. I used to move his puppydog but he would always move him back so that he was laying on top of him.

Garage Sale Finds

Saturday morning Max and I headed out for our walk. Two doors down they were having a garage sale so we stopped to browse. We found several kids movies (including my favorites Robin Hood and Bedknobs and Broomsticks) and the colorful bins. We continued on our walk around the block and came across another sale. There I found the scrabble game I need for the book I am making for Max and the wrapping organizer box. They mentioned that up the street at the Lutheran church there was a bizarre. So, we walked there and wandered through all kinds of stalls, where I found a small touch lamp that is perfect for my bedroom.

On the way back we had to pass the first sale again and I noticed these picnic dishes. Max liked playing with these at Kimber's house so I picked them up and he is enjoying playing with them.

We spent an hour and a half outside, had a great walk and only spent $19 dollars on our treasures.
