I can't believe he is already 9 months old. James is home for the holidays and was able to go with me to Max's well baby check up. Current stats are 18 lbs 8 oz, 29 inches. He is so long that he is wearing 12 months clothes.
As always we discussed his cafe spots; he is getting more of them and the ones he had seem to be getting a bit darker. The pediatrician is great to never push it aside as something we already talked about. He said that right now we are just in a holding pattern as we can expect that nothing will manifest for years. The part I don't deal well with is not knowing what will manifest if and when it does manifest. It is very ambiguous and I want to know exactly what to look for and what to expect. But as the pediatrician is very positive and assures me that I should not be concerned I will do my best to follow his advice.
* Notes: Only PC shot, left leg. No bruising. A littly whiny.

HMMM.Ambiguous...now THAT'S a ten dollar word!
so I wasnt sure what cafe spots was so i googled it. this is what my sister has all over her leg and i have a spot on mine as well. they dont grow or hurt they are just spots. they get darker in the summer with sun. i always thought it was a birth mark. i guess not. i learned something new. i hope max's are just spots and nothing more
I can't believe he is 9 months old already. That's crazy. Time seems to be flying by so fast.
It's interesting that he's so long. Where does he get is height from?
As far as the spots, I think you are doing great to watch them, watch him and not panic (you don't seem like you are panicking anyway). He's happy - what more could you as for?
Max is so darn cute. ;-) I sure loved being able to hold him for a bit at the party a few weeks ago.
I think of you guys often, and hope those spots will never be anything to cause worry, pain, problems, or whatever.
