Is he on the counter again? It's just the perfect place for them.
Just wait until he can blow on that thing like it is a trumpet. Or bang it on something like it is a drum. Or fill it with beans to make a rattle. You're right, we don't need to buy them toys :D
Fight Club theory. We are consumers. I think the same thing when we all get sick playing the $400 xbox 360 and move on to the $2 bubble maker gun that one of my guy's mom sent.
So Fight Club theory is my answer
