One night while laying on the bed bed talking to Mom (bare foot of course) she said, "Wow, your toes are weird!" We decided to check it out and found that my toes are growing wrong and a surgery would be necessary on my right foot. They took out a section of bone, straightened my toe and put a pin in to hold it.
It was of course painful and left a nasty scar on my right toe. I had to bath rather than shower for weeks to keep it from getting wet and also to keep the weight off of it. I also have shoe inserts to keep my feet sitting correctly and to avoid having surgery on the left foot.
I stayed in Arimo for several days to heal. The kittens seem to recognize someone who is sick and spent most of the time purring and sleeping on me. It was very soothing.
Sooner than I would like I had to get back to my classes at Ricks College and walking around campus was exhausting and painful.
