Summer of Yard Sale Saturdays

Most Saturday mornings during this summer Max and I headed out to wander through yard sales. I am amazed at some of the junk people put out to sell, and also amazed at some of the great things that are sold for cheap. Max absolutely loved it! He loved being outside, going to new places, seeing kids and dogs and looking at toys. When he found something he wanted and I was OK with him having I would hand him the quarters to pay the people. Each time we would get back into the truck he would say, "go nother one." I always seemed to to get tired of it before he did. Unless we had some great new toy to show daddy. Here are a few of the fun things we have found...

Bangs

A long over-due haircut.

After many years I went back to bangs and I really like it!

The Aquarium

Max and I have an annual membership to the Aquarium so we have been visiting it every week. They have added a penguin exhibit and it is Max's favorite. He runs through all the exhibits (pointing at everything along the way) until he gets to the penguins. Then we go back and forth between other exhibits and the penguins.

He was having fun hiding in the photo booth right before the exit so I decided to splurge and get pictures.

Korben's Birthday Party

Kate and Mike invited us to celebrate Korben's birthday with them. They made us a tasty dinner and yummy cake and ice cream. Then after watching Korben open his gifts we went swimming.

Max had such a great time in the water and especially loved the lazy river.

Donya's Visit

It has been a year since I last saw my friend Donya. She was in Utah to visit many people and I was glad I got to see her. We went to lunch together at Sweet Tomatoes (which she introduced me to many years ago.) We had a really nice visit and chatted away catching each other up on our lives. Her little girl is just a few months younger than Max and is such a cutie.

Cami Sealing

It was an amazing experience to be in the Temple with Cami and Ben and George while they were sealed. Congratulations!

Max's Duck Quilt

Jessica made Max a duck quilt which is adorable!!! He likes ducks and thinks this blanket is so fun. He likes to look at each picture and tell what each duck is doing.

He points to his favorites and says, "sunglasses, phone, bucket/shovel and measure/mix." Now he is excited to go to bed in his Thomas and Duck bed. Thanks Jess!!!
