Book Group Dinner

Last night a bunch of us got together at Texas Roadhouse for a fun dinner. The food was yummy and the company was great and we planned out the next year of book groups. It was well worth it despite the fact that my hips were killing me from sitting there for three hours.

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning we let Max open a gift and play with it until he was read to move on. After the Hill party yesterday he really started to catch on that there were things in those packages for him. He started to say, "open nother one?"

Thomas the Train Rug

He immediately ran to get a bunch of his trains to drive all over the rug.
And he likes to stack his cars on top of each other because they "crashed."

He figured out so fast how to put these together and now he and James play a little game.
James puts them together wrong and Max corrects them.

Hill Christmas Party 2010

We got together with the Hill family on Christmas Eve afternoon and as always we had yummy food and good company...and the grandparents spoiled the grandkids

Grandpa Keith gave Max his new garbage truck.

Neighbor Christmas Gifts

These are the gifts I gave to my neighbors. I wanted to do a healthy snack instead of more sugar. They have a bag of carrots, sour creme and dip and say "Thanks for being 24 "carrot" neighbors.
